This is a difficult day. I know how much you loved the holidays and brought so much joy to us to see you get excited. Thanksgiving or for that matter any day, will not be the same without you and what you brought to it. You just loved getting together with the whole family and I miss that so much. I can't even get myself to start Christmas shopping because the excitement of Christmas just isn't there this year. I feel like I have been so cheated out of life by losing you. It just doesn't seem fair. We were trying so hard to do good for you and you were doing so good. I think you felt like you had a forever family with us and we felt the same way about you. I hope you know we were never going to give up on you. You were supposed to be here with us forever. You came into our hearts the same day you came into our home and like I told dad that day, this is going to be one who stays with us forever. I am missing you like crazy today and you are in my heart as always. I just wish you could have been here. I love you and miss you as always.

When you woke up this morning
And washed your sleepy face,
Did you think to pause a minute or two
And thank God for His grace?
Or when you stepped outside today
And you saw that big blue sky,
And that shinin' sun that smiles on you
Like the Lord was sayin' "Hi"...
Did you stop to pray and thank the Lord
For the good He sends your way,
For His matchless love and His endless grace
That He pours out every day?
How would you rate at the Pearly Gate
If God said, "Don't you know...
You've as many days as you filled with praise
When you walked down there below!"
Would you get to spend just a short weekend
Or a half a dozen worth,
If He let you stay for each single day
That you thanked Him while on earth?
While it sure is great that we celebrate
What we call Thanksgiving Day,
And it's fun to see all the family
And to watch the children play...
Still, it just seems odd that we thank our God
Only when Thanksgiving's here,
For it seems to me giving thanks should be
Every day throughout the year!

I just wanted to say that I personally did not know little Angellika, but my daughter attended the same school as angellika, at the time of this horriable incident. Through my little tina's memory's I feel I really got to know how sweet this little girl was, whom befriended my daughter. My heart goes out to Angellika's family and friends. Angellika will never be forgotten. We will always remeber her.

Donna,  

Will you please contact me.  I don't know if you know this, but Angel does have another brother, his name is Ryan.  He asks about her all the time, and I would like to bring him up there to see her grave.  We both miss her so very much, she was very much loved and has been thought of daily since she left my home.  One comfort I have is seeing her daily, in Ryan.  He looks so much like her & so many of the things he says and does are the exact same things she used to say and do.  I would really appreciate it if you could e-mail me, I do not know where she is buried.  I would like to make a trip up there sometime before Christmas.  It is going to be an especially difficult time, because Angel just loved Christmas so much!  She loved to dress up in her pretty dresses, and have her hair curled all pretty and of course she loved opening all her presents, very early on Christmas morning.  
I look forward to hearing from you.

Well things are in the works for a memorial for you. We had a meeting tonight about some ideas for it. The people from Wisconsin Family Ties and Disability Rights of Wis. are some amazing people. They are advocacy groups that are determined to make some major changes so that you did not die in vain. Also very soon we will be hearing about what criminal charges are going to be made. I cannot wait for that!! Please Ang, be an angel on the shoulders of those other kids that you went to day treatment with and help them to get through this too. We all love you!!

Hi Angel,

I have been thinking of you and your family a lot this week as we have have lost 2 teens in our schools this week.  My heart gos out ot those families as well as yours.  I am trying to help my big kid's and Steven come to terms with these tragedies.  We will be attending funerals this weekend.  I wish for you family comfort during the holiday season.  I liked what your mom wrtoe about how you enjoyed the little things.  Steven totally gets into going to the mall of the grocery store.  He is intersted in everything going on around him.

Today is Halloween and I am missing you like crazy. I miss the excitement you brought into everything, especially holidays. I missed taking you to the Harvest dance at the church that we went to last year, I am so going to miss taking you trick or treating. You loved your kindergarten Halloween party too. I know things will never be the same again and it hurts to realize that. You enjoyed so much of the simple things in life, like even going to the grocery store with me, or going to bring the four wheeler to get fixed with dad. Those are the everyday things that I miss so much. Not everyone appreciates the small things like you did. I am still waiting for justice for you and I know that you know I will not stop until justice is served. I miss you so much.

We went to the church Harvest Dance and I couldn't help but to think of you and how much fun you had there last year dancing and being goofy with your cousins. At the end of the dance Vanessa broke down crying and said there is just no one to dance with and I really think she was thinking of and missing you! I know she misses you like crazy too. Justice has not prevailed yet but it will soon! I love you honey.
